 Content licensing terms
While we are still discussing the precise licensing terms for data and models that can be accessed through our databases, we seek the broadest benefit and we want our content to be as free and open as possible for educational and research purposes. You are free to use our data and models for educational and research purposes although we do ask you to cite both the original source of the data (as set in the associated metadata) AND the knowledge base it came from. Suggested citation formats will be shown in the relative web page for any object we give access to.
Commercial and legal use is a different matter. At this time we do not allow any commercial, consulting, or legal use of our data and models unless coordinated with us. Please contact us if you have such needs.
Also note that specific content may be subjected to different licensing terms, according to what its source asked us to do. In that case, the pages describing that content will have a special license link that you must read carefully before making any use of the data other than visualizing them in your browser. For the time being, all the content we are publishing is free to use for non-commercial purposes, but all intellectual property rests with its authors and must be acknowledged even when not explicitly mentioned.
