Ecoinformatics teaching offers

We are in the process of elaborating an integrated teaching offer spanning all aspects of ecoinformatics. The image below is a sketch of the structure we are envisioning for our courses and those within UVM that relate to ecoinformatics.

Previously taught courses

In Spring 2004 we have taught a course in Knowledge Modeling for Environmental Research and Management. The course was a success and produced useful "deliverables" that will soon be documented on these pages. The syllabus is available online. Feel free to contact us for information about the course and our future offers.

International courses
Since 1999 we have taught the Environmental Database and Information Systems module in the M.Sc. in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. The Master is devoted to promoting ecosystem health and ecological economics and to halting the globalization of unsustainable economic policies.
We have taught ecoinformatics-related topics in the Gund Institute Atelier Workshops program, focusing on specific problems in Ecological Economics and sustainability that are tackled on site.
